Trivia

TSR Jam 1999 includes the first depiction of Mordenkainen being bald. The cover artist, Todd Lockwood, used models for the various notable NPCs on the cover, using "characters from the Wizards Art and Cartography Departments as models: Illustrator Fred Fields as Mordenkainen, from Greyhawk."[5]
