Description

Differences from earlier maps

This version's major distinction is that it shows the aftermath of the Greyhawk Wars c.591 CY, and the invasion of forces from the Orcish Empire of the Pomarj north into the Wild Coast, making the border a very short distance from the Domain. There is a "Buffer Zone" shown at the southern end of the Domain of Greyhawk, between it and the Pomarj.

There are a staggering number of small settlements, enclaves, camps, and fortifications added in this map. There are also roads given specific names like the North Route, Marsh Way, Dwarfwalk, and Libernan-Coast Road.

Also, the borders of the domain are expanded to include places like Hardby and Wyvernen, which were previously independent towns. And further southeast across the Abbor-Alz all the way to the edge of the Bright Desert.

Publication History

The Adventure Begins was published in print in July 1998 for $19.95.[1]

It was later made available digitally on DMsGuild.com on February 22, 2018 for $9.99.[2]
