Shargallen is small port town in what used to be the South Province of The Great Kingdom, which, as of 585 CY, served as an important secondary naval base for the rapidly-fracturing Great Kingdom. It now falls in the Kingdom of Ahlissa.

The population of Shargallen is roughly 2,900 persons, most of them human.

The town has a small sect of worshipers of Beltar, who have an unparalleled knowledge of the coastal caves along the Relmor Bay coastline

Government

Rumors & legends

Several of the nearby caves are said to contain stashes of gold, left over from pirates that didn't live to come claim it, and may contain darker things-perhaps a necromancer's cavernous laboratory, or a minor malignant magical artifact or two.
