Unpublished novels

In some instances, a novel titled Dragon in Amber by Rose Estes is listed as "Greyhawk Adventures vol. 7".[1] However, there are no cover images of it, and it was never advertised by the company. Publisher Erik Mona (Paizo), noted for expertise in rare books, has asserted the book was never printed—similar to The Test by Wes Nicholson, another unpublished Greyhawk novel.[2]

  1. Estes, Rose (1988-10-01) Dragon in Amber (Greyhawk Adventure Series), Wizards of the Coast ISBN: 978-0880386500.
  2. Mona, Erik. Dragon in Amber: A Novel by Rose Estes? (forum). WotC Gleemax forums. WotC, January 29, 2007. Archived from the original on unspecified date. Retrieved on 29 April 2025. "Publishers often appy for ISBNs months, or even years, before a product comes out. That results in a lot of ISBNs for books that never got published because a title changed, the book was dropped for strategic or financial reasons, or whatever. This book is one of those books. It does not exist. There's also a 90s-era Endless Quest book by Wes Nicholson that is supposedly set in Greyhawk. It doesn't exist, either."
