Alhaster
Alhaster is the capital of the Principality of Redhand, one of the Bandit Kingdoms.
History
Alhaster was originally part of the Shield Lands until 577 CY, when Zeech, then a viscount, drove off Knights of Holy Shielding attempting to arrest him on suspicion of murdering his parents. He then declared himself ruler of the new principality of Redhand, with Alhaster as his capital.

Alhaster lies on the northern coast of the Nyr Dyv.

As of 591, Alhaster's population numbered 4,700.

Notable individuals
Alhaster is ruled by Prince Zeech. It is also home to the quaggoth Shag Solomon.
Religion
Zeech is a cleric of Hextor, and as such worship of him is popular here. However, Iuz is the state religion, as Alhaster is part of the Empire of Iuz. Kord also has worshippers in the city. Alhaster is also the headquarters of the Ebon Triad in the Age of Worms adventure path.
Languages
As with the other Bandit Kingdoms, Common and Orcish are spoken here.
Government
Alhaster, and Redhand by extension, is ruled by Prince Zeech, who in turn has to answer to either Hallorn or Stoink, one of the two regional capitals selected by Iuz.
