Karnquiza is a follower of Nerull and now Tharizdun[note 1], who also holds civic office of Inquisitor in Zelradton, formerly a city in the Great Kingdom, which puts him in charge of the city's prisons and of ferreting out enemies of the state. He is also the 'Hidden Sickle', the head of a secret society of assassins known as the Midnight Darkness.
Description
Appearance
Karnquiza is 5'11" male human with a medium build, and has black hair and green eyes. His stomach is rotting thanks to his disfavor with Nerull, forcing him to keep it covered and use perfume to hide the stench of the necrotic flesh.
Religion
Karnquiza was converted to the worship of Nerull by a charismatic and powerful priest just after he became the inquisitor, catching the favor of The Reaper with his lust for power and his enjoyment of being able to kill, torture or spare anyone in the Kingdom. He has since lost the favor of The Reaper since he began spying for the Scarlet Brotherhood, though he still begs Nerull for forgiveness.
Equipment and possessions
Karnquiza is known to carry numerous magic items including: ring of free action, ring of invisibility, amulet of proof against detection and location, bag of tricks, +4 short sword (with detect lies 3x per day and undetectable lie x3 per day), bracers of defense +2, and a cloak of protection +4.
Relationships
In his duty as the Inquisitor, Karnquiza is working for Graf Reydrich, ruler of the South Province, of which Zelradton is the Capital. Reydrich has placed several "assistants" with him, giving him less unilateral control over the city.
Recently, Karnquiza has also been roped into spying for The Scarlet Brotherhood, placed under a Geas to send them coded messages about the goings on in Zelradton and the surrounding area on pain of a fate worse than death.

As the "Hidden Sickle", the leader of The Midnight Darkness, Karnqiza has Preceptors who do his bidding, which include Jipzinker and Erkann the Antiquary.
