Pelleur Keep is a stone keep in the Kingdom of Nyrond on the edge of the Flinty Hills.
Geography
Pelleur Keep is located at the edge of the Flinty Hills, opposite the Bone March.[1]
History
In Spring 585 CY the keep was a weakness in Nyrond's defensive line, after being abandoned due to monsters (including xorn, wyverns, hook horrors and even a group of rare spriggan) repeatedly emerging from the nearby hills and attacking the garrison causing serious casualties. The defensive line of aptrols was withdrawn 3 miles from the keep, with much equipment abandoned in the keep. Magical causes of the attacks were suspected when the attacks rarely advanced to the new line.[1]
Living Greyhawk campaign
In the Living Greyhawk campaign, Pelleur Keep was detailed in the "Nyrond Gazetteer" fan-created source-book. It was indicated as having been reoccupied and strengthened after major humanoid raids destroyed 3 mining towns. in 591 CY it was a major base for Royal-General Osmeran's attacks into the Flinty Hills.
