Monstrous humanoids are similar to humanoids, but with monstrous or animalistic features. They often have magical abilities as well.^[1]

"Monstrous humanoid" is a descriptor in third edition used in creature descriptions and stat blocks, and is an abandoned term no longer used in contemporary editions. It is dropped from third edition in v3.5 and after, and in later editions these are most often simply called humanoids.
