Description
The Wood map follows the famous maps in World of Greyhawk Fantasy World Setting (1980) and World of Greyhawk boxed set by Darlene.
The map is a two-page spread, so it's length is oriented side-to side. This means that in order to fit the map, it was sideways from the perspective that most maps are oriented with north being "up". The labels are all situated to be read in this unusual orientation, but the compass rose makes clear that north is to the left in this illustration.[2]
The city is depicted in 591 CY, and is given a scale of 1'=400 ft.[2]
Publication history
The Wood map also appears as a keyed version of the map on the interior of the cardstock screen in The Adventure Begins (1998).[3]
