Ayelerach, in the original Lake Geneva Greyhawk campaign, was a companion of Erac's Cousin. With him, Ayelerach inadvertently helped free the demon prince Fraz-Urb'luu from his imprisonment by Zagig Yragerne.
The 1st edition Monster Manual II refers to Ayelerach as a cleric, but the evidence points to him being a fighter (9th level at the time of his encounter with Fraz-Urb'luu).

Ayelerach was played by A. Mark Ratner. According to Gary Gygax in his "Up on a Soapbox" column for Dragon Magazine, Ratner's original Ayelerach (then named "Eylerach") was a paladin. [1]
