Growfest Eel Run

A festival held in the town of Caronis marking the annual migration of large numbers of Lake Quag elvers (young eels) down the Velverdyva River to the Nyr Dyv. At night the lanterns of the numerous net fishers working the banks of the river can be seen during the week-long run. Besides the fishing the event is marked with feasting, dancing, singing and the consumption of large amounts of beer and mead.
