Madd was a famed Suel sorcerer who lived before the Rain of Colorless Fire. With his partner, the equally famed sorcerer Ztxar, he created a set of magical maps.
Madd managed to escape the Rain of Colorless Fire with eight of the maps, settling in a city whose name is no longer remembered. He led a peaceful life, teaching and experimenting with magic. When he died, he left his works to his apprentice Dane.
