The Final Enemy is an adventure module for the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (AD&D) fantasy roleplaying game, written by Dave Browne with Don Turnbull,[1] published by TSR, Inc. in 1983.[2] This 48-page adventure[2] is set in the World of Greyhawk campaign setting.

Plot summary

The Final Enemy is an underwater quest to penetrate a lair of the sahuagin, which is described in detail.[3]

Having identified the evil, cruel creatures, massed in force and viciously organized as a threat to the little town of Saltmarsh, the player characters have the opportunity to thwart the evil of the sahuagin and ensure the safety of Saltmarsh.

Publication history

U3 The Final Enemy was written by Dave J. Browne with Don Turnbull, with art by Keith Parkinson, and was published by TSR in 1983 as a 48-page booklet with an outer folder.[3] This module was the third and last of the "Saltmarsh" series.[3]

The Final Enemy was designed and developed in the United Kingdom[2] and was intended for characters of level 3-5.[4]

This module presents the climactic events in an underwater campaign of three related adventures set in the town of Saltmarsh. The module is a sequel to U1 - The Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh and U2 - Danger at Dunwater. [5]
