Ogden Tillit

Head of the Church of Pholtus and the Theocracy of Pale. Powerful cleric and accomplished military leader, Ogden rules the Pale with an iron fist, insisting on strict discipline and tolerating no dissent.

Residing in the capital Wintershiven has kept the Pale safe for the last 20 years, from barbarian invasions, treachery from the Duchy of Tenh and the never-ending threat from the Troll Fens.

Recently Theocrat Ogden has instituted a harsh set of laws. All mages must be registered with government and pay taxes for each spell cast. Failure to comply results in imprisonment. All other arcane casters are to be executed. All religions, bar that of Pholtus, must pay a hefty monthly tax to the government. Failure to comply results in the banning of the church.

These laws are strictly implemented in Wintershiven and it’s immediate surrounds, but have yet to reach to remaining portions of the Pale.
