Affiliations

I don't see it as a problem unless 4e actually uses a different term to describe "affiliations" - if it does, a new template can be created then. But if you feel strongly about this, feel free to create a different template and delete mine; I'll use the new one instead. I don't have any strong feelings on the subject, myself.

RE: Bluto sans Pite

Sorry about that -- I've added the cite. The info came from page 105 of Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk, where it says that the Iuzites found his body and turned him into a mohrg. Pat Payne 18:37, 18 September 2007 (EDT)

Wikia

Just wondering why you didn't create this as a Wikia site, which would presumably allow for closer ties to the D&D and Forgotten Realms Wikis already present there. I'm sure there could easily be good reasons, I'm just ignorant. But if you're just unaware of the possibility, I thought I'd bring it up now, instead of after a lot of work has been done here. (Note that even WoWwiki-which has a separate domain name-is listed with Wikia, I don't understand how that works out though.) --Rindis 22:27, 15 October 2007 (EDT)

Spelling of Sess'innek

In Monster Mythology, the demon lord is called "Sess'innek" eight times, "Sess'inek" once (in the table of contents), and "Sess'Innek" once (in the title of his entry). In On Hallowed Ground, his name is always spelled "Sess'innek" (in the index and on page 49). In Fiendish Codex I: Hordes of the Abyss, his name is spelled "Sess'Innek" once and "Sess'inek" once (both on page 156). In Planes of Chaos, his name is spelled "Sess'inek" three times (once in the Book of Chaos, page 20, and twice on the poster map). In Serpent Kingdoms, his name is spelled "Sess'innek" twenty times.

My conclusion was that "Sess'innek" is the proper spelling, and that "Sess'Innek" and "Sess'inek" are typos that were accidentally perpetuated in a few places (including Wikipedia). Rip 19:45, 13 November 2007 (EST)

Though 'FC 1 is the most recent source & doesn't use the "Sess'innek" spelling, I agree that it's most likely correct (at least until WotC decides otherwise), so I've reverted to the previous version. Thanks for filling me in.--Robbastard 19:59, 13 November 2007 (EST)

Norebo and Phyton

They are at AFD in case you haven't been checking Wikipedia. BOZ 13:25, 3 December 2007 (EST)

Lost Norebo; Phyton likely to follow if handled in the same manner. BOZ 20:08, 8 December 2007 (EST)

Daragor is up for AFD, so I ported him and a couple other lycanthrope gods over here. BOZ 19:07, 8 December 2007 (EST)

Yeomanry (Greyhawk) is now up for AFD as well. I've been adding articles here when I have the time, and I will definitely have some free time this week. Gavin Collins is up to his usual shenanigans, as is Mikeblas to a lesser degree, while Pilotbob has fallen relatively quiet. The less they know about this place the better; why give them an incentive to bring up more AFDs over there if they know we're transwiking here? BOZ 16:32, 10 December 2007 (EST)

ENWorld notice

[1] you might want to reiterate Rip's comments, as I already have.  :) BOZ 12:47, 14 December 2007 (EST)

Images

You're welcome! I also uploaded a Chronepsis image i found on my hard drive that I took from, hmm... Planescape Campaign setting, "Sigil and Beyond" book, p18.

There are a few from Monster Mythology that I think i'll upload since I have a few minutes. I'll attach them to the right pages later tonight unless you beat me to it.  ;)

There, I got 6 more for you. I'm about to get going home for the holidays. Don't think I'll have the opportunity to add any more pics until next week. I'll be online though. Have a good Christmas! BOZ 18:02, 21 December 2007 (EST)

Monster Mythology

Hey Rob, I finally finished adding all the gods in Monster Mythology, copying them from wikipedia. In the not-too-distant future, I'll start adding some details to the really stubby ones from the book. You, and espeicially Rip are really good at fleshing them out, so I'll leave that to you guys.  :) BOZ 15:27, 22 December 2007 (EST)

Merry Christmas

Hey Rob, Did you see the note I left for you on Wiki about Pilotbob getting bitched out? I noticed one of the deletionists (Jack Merridew) on that admin's talk page trying to lick his asshole about how he handled the Dwellers of the Forbidden City close, and I might have said a thing or two there as well.  ;) [2] BOZ 18:06, 24 December 2007 (EST)

That was my intention... hopefully, we'll see! BOZ 19:18, 24 December 2007 (EST)
Actually, I'm starting to think that he might be a robot!: [3] There's no reasoning with a robot.  ;) BOZ 17:33, 26 December 2007 (EST)

Anyway, check out Pilotbob's talk page. Not sure who Sephiroth is, if he's an admin or just a user who knows what he's talking about, but he's giving Pilot and Gavin a good talking to. Also gives a window into Gavin's motivations if you're curious. BOZ 20:19, 1 January 2008 (EST)

More Images

I uploaded several images from "Best of Dragon Magazine, Vol. III". I don't have the original Dragons handy, plus it was convenient to have them all in one place. They're kind of yellow, so I understand if you'd prefer to use the original sources. At least this gives you a starting point to work from. I didn't attach them to any articles, in case you want to use other copies of the images. BOZ 11:07, 27 December 2007 (EST)

If you've already got them, then I'll leave you to it. Shall I assume you've got the 1E Dieties & Demigods covered as well? I'll look through my Planescape stuff if you like; there's bound to be pictures here and there. BOZ 23:35, 27 December 2007 (EST)

Comments on my last question?

We Don't Lose 'em All!

Ro7P was spared again - this time with a KEEP instead of just no consensus!  :) that should, hopefully, deter anyone saying "yeah, but last time it was no consensus, so this time it should be a delete"  :) Also, Beltar was redirected with edit history preserved, which is better than a delete and redirect.

Osyluth and Destrachan were put up for AFD, but I'm far less concerned with them than a lot of other articles. I don't know where this AnteaterZot guy is coming from - his argument sounds different than a lot of deletionists. I'm going to try to convince him that merging/redirecting is way better than deleting. BOZ 00:34, 30 December 2007 (EST)

What's not to love about Erik? [4] BOZ 17:47, 5 January 2008 (EST)
Death knight is the next AFD on the block, FYI. BOZ 16:40, 14 January 2008 (EST)
Also, I'm fairly sure that Gavin has Iquander's talk page on his watchlist; moments after I posted a notice about the death knight, he voted on the AFD. So, be careful about posting there - just a head's up. BOZ 20:11, 14 January 2008 (EST)

Hello from FR-Wiki

I'm an admin over at the Forgotten Realms Wiki and noticed you were just getting started. Feel free to copy over any of the templates we have, since I know how fiddly it can be to get those right, and hopefully some of our ideas and policies might come in useful. Good luck with the project! Please sign my talk page at FR-Wiki if you'd like to reply. Fw190a8 07:53, 1 January 2008 (EST)

Temple of Elemental Evil

We have both a Temple of Elemental Evil article and a The Temple of Elemental Evil article. They seem to be virtually identical, except The Temple has another field filled in the infobox. Just a heads up. -- Rip 17:19, 5 January 2008 (EST)

Ygorl

Is up for deletion: [5] BOZ 10:35, 25 January 2008 (EST)

Logically, I guess this one is no surprise then: Slaad, and also someone tagged Lynkhab for same. BOZ 09:52, 28 January 2008 (EST)
Another one: [6]. BOZ 07:54, 29 January 2008 (EST)

And now, Rudd. BOZ 18:41, 30 January 2008 (EST)

Look at this idiot now: [7] He's calling me theatrical for defending my article, but it looks like he's the one crying like a big baby. :) BOZ 10:56, 7 February 2008 (EST)

I'm getting sick of fighting those jackasses. From what I'm seeing it looks like fiction notability at WP is shaping up to basically exclude almost all D&D articles except for some main ones. You spend time bringing an article up to WP standards and it's going to get shot down anyway. The only reason I've kept going is that those morons will think they've won if we quit trying, but at the same time if they want to spend their time in some pathetic effort to keep Wikipedia "pure" from "unencyclopedic" gaming articles that's fine. There are more geeks than deletionists so they'll just end up fighting the same battle over and over. --Smillan 31 20:49, 11 February 2008 (EST)
