Description

The Yano Desert is a colorful desert, with red-brown sands near the Okeo Hills fading to a light gold in the western regions. The Touv avoid the Yano, fearing the wrath of Olat, a temperamental brass dragon of venerable age; the dragon has lived here since before the collapse of the Kingdom of Kunda and doesn’t take well to those who violate his territory. There are few other creatures in the desert beyond mutant lizards and giant insects; an oddly-constructed ruin near the hills is said to have been built by an ancient race of people that predate the Touv, possibly the ones the people of Byanbo call “The Tall Walkers.”[1]
