Farlen

Farlen is a village, jointly maintained by the three cities of the Solnar Compact: Rel Astra Ountsy and The Free city of Roland. The village has a civilian population of roughly 1,300, with 350 garrisoned troops drawn from all three cities, commanded by a Rel Astran.

The village contains a cathedral to Pholtus, which was built some 200 years ago and has since been looted and pillaged. It also contains a Library and Scriptorium built by a wealthy Garasteth noble a few centuries back and maintained by money left in his will and by fees charged t scholars who wish to consult the collection. The library is run by Rimann Tigana, a cousin to the resident alchemist in the Free city of Greyhawk.
