Bestien's Towers is a fortification on the northern border of the Kingdom of Nyrond.
Description
The castle is a twin towered keep that surveys the southern Nutherwood. In 585 CY 150 heavy infantry and 300 light infantry were garrisoned here, and patrolled the southern parts of the Nutherood against any remaining Stonefist forces. While the Nutherwood was technically part of the Theocracy of the Pale, its soldiers allowed Nyrond troops to hunt down Stonefist forces hin the wood. This castle was also a base for 800 militia that patrolled the eastern border with the Pale. Relationships between the nations and the troops at the time were tense.[1]
