The Oeridian Record (abbreviated OR[1], and called Oerid Reckoning in Doc's Island) is a method of counting the years among the Oeridian people. It is commonly used for dates prior to Year 1 in the Common Year calendar, and by many Oeridian-settled nations that were never part of the Great Kingdom.

Year 1 in the Common Year (CY) calendar is equivalent to 645 in the Oeridian Record. -1 CY is equivalent to 644 OR, and 591 CY to 1235 OR[1].

For some time the Oeridians had inhabited what was later Ull as horse nomads. More than 200 years prior to the fall of the Suel Imperium and Baklunish Empire these barbarians united in a single confederation to resist incursions by the Baklunish Empire across the Ulsprue Mountains, and nomadic Baklunish from the north, which was the event marking the start of the use of the Oeridian Record.[2]

In 160 OR the Baklunish-Suloise Wars began.[3].
