Torrich is a rather large city in what is now the Kingdom of Ahlissa, and was formerly the southeastern part of the Great Kingdom, though to the west of cities like Jalpa, Rel Deven, and Kalstrand.
History
The city was originally built as a castle stronghold atop a hill, around which the town was formed. With the castle never having fallen, the town gained quite the reputation as a safe haven. This, along with the fact that it was realtively far to the west, led to a flood of refugees from the western part of the Great Kingdom during and just after the Greyhawk Wars, raising the population from 19,000 prewar to 27,000.

The Captain of The Watch in Torrich, as of 585 CY, is a half-elf by the name of Crenelland, who was watchful and perceptive enough to break up a nest of four Scarlet Brotherhood spies posing as silk merchants.
