Xavener is overking of the United Kingdom of Ahlissa. Xavener is also head of the Royal House of Darmen. His ancestral lands are centered on Kalstrand.[1][2][3] For quite some time, he was considered the Darmen prince who would be the family's best prospects for taking the Malachite Throne from Ivid V, and with the fall of Rauxes, all his maneuvering set him on his own throne instead.

Appearance
Xavener is good looking, with nice skin, light brown curly hair, hazel eyes, and straight white teeth.[4]
Personality
Xavener is a manipulative monster who would sacrifice anything or anyone to gain absolute power, but is so charismatic that it's extremely difficult for anyone to tell how cruel he is, because he is incredibly charming, with good manners, extraordinarily convincing false modesty, and an easy, light sense of humor. He is incredibly cunning, and knows how to use his charms to his advantage in leveraging what he wants. [4]

Xavener is an urbanite and was in control of the land surrounding Kalstrand before his coronation as Overking, so he has a mansion complex in Kalstrand proper. It notably is very lavish, with marbled towers, trussed roofs, and gilded wind braces, along with features like well-tended gardens and fountains found throughout the grounds.

Xavener wears leather armor and has a ring of protection +5, which also gives him 10% magic resistance and +4 on saving throws against illusions. He wears an amulet of mind shielding.

He's married to a woman named Rachern, who is quite beautiful, and is evil herself, though she is unaware of exactly how much of a monster she married. They have twin daughters together, who were six years old in 585 CY. He has several siblings, most notably Prince Karralak, who is in charge of Strand.
History
Following a "secret conference" in spring of 587 CY which lasted nearly 90 days,[6] which brought together many lords of the former South Provence, Xavener was crowned overking of the newly proclaimed nation called the United Kingdom of Ahlissa during Growfest of 587 CY.[6]
