Tysiln San is an exiled drow female, who serves the Black One as First Protector of the Valley of the Mage.

Tysiln is exceedingly devoted to the Mage of the Vale, the Black One, Jaran Krimeeah.
History
"Tysiln San was born in the Vault of the Drow and trained in magic by her merchant family. She specializes in the spells of conjuration/summoning. In her youth, she was loyal to her family and assisted in their plans to overthrow the priestesses of Lolth. After this failed, she was forced to flee her home."[2]
"Tysiln San was born a dark elf, in the underground caverns and tunnels ruled by the drow. Accident and misfortune forced her to dwell under the harsh sun of the surface world. There she met evil Jaran Krimeeah, Mage of the Vale. Tysiln San fell in love with this cruel wizard. She uses all her considerable talents as a drow sorceress at his bidding, Jaran has given into her hands the defense of the valley, and gave her the title of First Protector. Anyone that wants to enter the Vale of the Mage must first pass by Tysiln Sun."[3]
