Ipp

The Ipp is a species of tree native to the Flanaess, averaging 60 feet or more in height. A subspecies, the ipt, is taller still. Ipps live for centuries and are seldom attacked by illness or disease. They both have greenish bark and hand-shaped leaves.

Ipp candles are made from a mixture of tallow and Ipp tree sap. They illuminate truly little, even less than a normal candle. They are known, however, for keeping normal insects and pests away.

Ipt trees make favored homes for sylvan elves.
