Category:Magic-users

The following Greyhawk characters have one or more levels in the Magic-user class.

This category somewhat overlaps with Category:Wizards. Magic-users are additionally listed separately in Category:Characters by class.

This category is used for NPCs who were originally written in earlier editions of the game (specifically original, Basic, and first editions) in which some spellcasters were referred to by the term "magic-user". In those all editions, all casters which eventually came to be known as mages or wizards, or were arcane casters of any kind used this term.

Characters using this category should also include Category:Wizards. This allows these characters to be found by contemporary terminology but to still be listed by their original terminology.
