Eru-Trovar is the capital for the Wolf Nomads.
History
The very first ruling tarkhan of the Wolf Nomads made his basecamp on a hill close to the headwaters of the Blackwater river. In later years, it would be fortified with a stockade around it, and even later, stone walls. This would become the city of Eru Tovar and buildings of brick and stone would follow, making it a proper city. [1]
Iuz laid siege to Eru Tovarn just before the Greyhawk Wars, but in Harvester 578 CY the Relentless Horde of the Wegwiur attacked the orcish armies of Iuz in the Howling Hills, sallying forth from Eru Tovar, led by Tang the Horrific.[2] Iuz's forces were decimated, with only a few thousand forces surviving to make it back to the Howling Hills. Some 2,000 humans and 6,000 humanoids in the invading army were slaughtered. No prisoners were taken.[3] This retaliation for the siege of Eru Tovar was called the Battle of Blackwater Bend.[3]
