Ardraken was a wizard from the Free City of Greyhawk (although the source, The Book of Wondrous Inventions, says simply that he was from Greyhawk, which might conceivably mean the Domain, castle, or the campaign world).

Ardraken was traveling in another world (probably Earth) when he discovered a cola machine. Impressed with its friendliness, Ardraken created a simulacrum of it that would reproduce the beverage on Oerth. The result was Ardraken's Refreshment Simulacrum, a chaotic and slightly malevolent magically created creature that operates as designed only for Ardraken himself (or its creator, if another wizard decides to duplicate the process). As designed, the simulacrum spits out a metal can filled with cola in exchange for two silver pieces (the silver is actually magically transformed into the soda and can). For anyone else, it may accept money, but either dismisses the user by taunting it, attacks them, or gives them an accursed drink with a random malign magical effect.

Ardraken installed his simulacrum in a dungeon.
