The Mighty Freehold, or simply Freehold, is one of the Bandit Kingdoms.
Description
The namesake of this kingdom is its Freehold, a castle which has been restyled as Fleichshriver since coming under Iuz's rule.
History
Freehold swore fealty to the Empire of Iuz as it spread into the Bandit Kingdoms during the Greyhawk Wars in 583 CY. The Freeholders' loyalty was repaid with treachery by Iuz, as they were one of the Bandit Kingdoms whose soldiers suffered at the massacre in the Steelbone Meadows.
Geography
People
Humans have largely abandoned Freehold, with a strong Orc population replacing them. Fleichshriver is also home to hobgoblins. Freehold is technically governed by Hallorn, but visits from the regional capital are rare.
Languages
As with the other Bandit Kingdoms, Common and Orcish are spoken here.
