Amariss is a High Priestess of Wee Jas and leader of the Cult of the Green Lady in Diamond Lake.

Description

Amariss leads the Cult of the Green Lady.

Physical appearance

Personality

Though she is prone to giving "bothersome sermons on the exquisite beauty of death and the arcane prowess of the Dark-Eyed Lady,"[1] Amariss is seen as an "enchanting" person.[2]

Abilities

Str 13, Dex 8, Con 14, Int 10, Wis 16, Cha 12[2]

Amariss is highly in-tune with the aspects of Wee Jas relating to death, and thus is able to channel the divine power of her matron to much greater effect, turning undead with more frequency and with power akin to that of priests more experienced than she (extra turning and improved turning feats).[2]

Activities

She is responsible for changing the direction of the group away from being fanatical zealots. While they are still seen as ominously gloomy or foreboding, they moved more to a focus of caring for the dead (in the cemetery of Diamond Lake).

History

By 595 CY, the mantle of leadership of the Cult of the Green Lady had been passed on to Amariss.[3] The previous leader's (Nohrtan) fate is unknown, though it is likely he died when Doomgrinder crossed the path of the camp of the Jasian cultists and he refused to leave. He and some few others "[stood] in the path of this infernal beast of destruction".[4]
