In order to avoid confusion when sourcing article content, all articles at the Great Library of Greyhawk should adhere to a standard code or abbreviation for each source cited.

Products that have letter-and-number combination "adventure codes" prominently displayed on the cover (such as most first and second edition works) use those designations. Items without such codes use abbreviations of the title. In some cases, a brief explanation is noted next to the abbreviation in italics.
