Justinian Lorinar was the Duke of the Duchy of Urnst from 570 to 571 CY.[1]
Description
Justinian was a devote follower of the philosophical school of “Skepticism”. Justinian questioned the divinity of the gods, increasing temple taxes some three hundred percent upon gaining office and triggered the Temple Coalition Uprising after he razed the temple of Zilchus in Leukish. While fighting the Bright Desert dervishes in 571 CY, he was severly wounded in battle and died from wounds because no cleric would heal him.
In Living Greyhawk
Justinian authored a book entitled Cultivating the Mind which was highly valuable to collectors (350gp).[2]
Relationships
Justinian is the older brother of Duke Karll Lorinar.
