Description

The Baerald map has an Old World/Age of Exploration look and feel to it. It is faithful to previous illustrations, it is reminiscent of the Valusek map, being a more painterly or more illustrative representation of the city in a map, and is viewed from a more isometric view. It uses a more dense concentration of buildings, which is also characteristic of the Tetreault map and Schley map.

Locations

Depicted on the map are many established locations in the city:

High Quarter
Garden Quarter
River Quarter
Foreign Quarter
Clerkburg
Artisans' Quarter
Slum Quarter
Thieves' Quarter

There is also a new location added to the city:

Publication history

The map was first previewed in detail in the promotional video for the Dungeon Master's Guide (2024), Chris Perkins saying of the map, "we describe the City of Greyhawk, flesh out some of it's places and inhabitants."[1]
