Pamdarn is the baron of the island of Fairisle in the Domain of the Sea Barons. He is quite young, especially compared to the other barons, but is given a great deal of leeway with High Admiral Basmajian, which he leverages to gain more freedom of movement for his captains. Part of that is keeping quiet about the fact the he, like Baron Jamzeen find slavery rather distasteful.[1]
Description
Appearance
The young baron is 6'1", and well built. He has fair hair and blue eyes[1].
Personality
Being relatively young, Pamdarn does not have the same sense of duty or discipline that the other barons have, but he is not excessively rash or reckless.[2] His father died when he was still young, and it took him a while to work through the depression that followed. [1] He is ambitious and unscrupulous and will do whatever is needed to achieve his goals. Case in point:
"Because of his lack of monies, he recently had an Ountsy merchant executed on a trumped-up charge of sedition and arson, confiscating his vessel and goods in the bargain. Basmajian forced him to return the vesseland most of the money, but this episode illustrates Pamdarn's personality quite clearly."Ivid the Undying, pg. 94
