Palten County

PaltenCounty, ryns along the eastern border of the Duchy of Urnst with the Nesser River as the border between the duchy and Nyrond. With Kehle County to the north, Eschen County and Savode County to the west and Celadon Forest to the south, the county is dotted with castles and keeps along its length to the Celadon Forest. The agricultural production per acre is second to none, owing to the fine growing weather, the flooding of the lands, and the deep, rich soils, even after centuries of intense farming. This production would even be greater if the nobles living along the river would refrain from trampling the fields in their constant internecine warfare.

- Palten County is patrolled by the East March.
- The River of Palten, a Dromond class ship in the Ducal Navy was named after the county and is stationed in Leukish.
