Knife's Edge Pass is the only continuous path through the Abbor-Alz,[citation needed] as a trade route between the Duchy of Urnst and the Bright Lands in the Western Abbor-Alz March, though it barely qualifies as a pass.[citation needed] "Sparse traffic from Urnst arrives through Knife’s Edge Pass, though [Duke Karll Lorinar] has forbidden all trade with those who fly the banner of the archmage, [Rary]."[1] Nil Keep is situated to guard the pass. The Griffon's Nest also lays near the pass.
