Description
"These broad, tapering hills arc covered in reddish claylike earth, although a white chalklike stone lies under the topsoil. Huge strips of topsoil have been removed to expose the rock underneath, and if viewed from a distance of a league or more these lines of white almost seem to form words or symbols in an unknown language.
