Serendya is the matriarch of the Swanmay sisterhood in the Gnarley Forest.[1]
Description
Appearance
Little is known of Serendya's exact appearance, but she is assumed to look similar to the regular Swanmays under her leadership.
Personality and alignment
Despite being of the neutral good alignment, and being fully devoted to protecting the Gnarley Forest and surrounding area, Serendya is incredibly reclusive, preferring to interface with her sisterhood directly and all others by proxy.[1]
Religion
Serendya is a devout and powerful priestess of Ehlonna.[1]
Abilities
The full extent of her power is unknown, but she is capable of crafting the same white feather tokens that Titania first gifted to Fionnghuala, which allow others to become Swanmays.[citation needed]
Home
Her personal dwelling is not known, and her exact location at any given time is only known to the sisterhood she commands. Despite this, she is assumed to reside in the Gnarley Forest, though her organization can often be found in the Welkwood and the Suss Forest. On rare occasions, they can be encountered outside of the forests along the Wild Coast, in the Faerie Kingdom of Celene, the Pomarj, or within the Viscounty of Verbobonc.[1]
Equipment and possessions
Serendya is only known to possess the white feather tokens she creates. When someone joins her organization, they are given one such token. These tokens imbue the user with the powers of the Swanmay, such as prolonged life and the ability to transform into a swan at will.[citation needed]
Relationships
Allies and minions
Serendya commands a sisterhood of 44 Swanmays within the Gnarley Forest. They serve as vigilant watchers and report all threats in the region directly to her, with the help of talking owls and a mysterious female Moon Dog who only appears under the full moon of Celene (moon).[1]
She maintains alliances with the Rangers of the Gnarley and the various fey folk of the region.[1]
She has a working relationship and point of contact with Canon Hazen of Veluna, guildmaster Kieren Jalucian of the Greyhawk Guild of Wizardry, and Mordenkainen from the Circle of Eight.[1]
