The Grand Hall[1][2][3] (also called the Old City Great Hall[4][5] or just the Great Hall(T21)[4][6][7][8] is noted as being "City Hall" and the site of the signing of the Treaty of Greyhawk the end of the Greyhawk Wars.[2]

It is also notably the headquarters of the Guild of Thieves.[4][6]

Description

The Thieves' Guildhall is a "large, fortress-like building with a central courtyard and few windows facing the street."[9] It is an "old but magnificent building."[4]

Interior

"Inside are dormitories for thieves, training rooms, storage and supply centers, and lookout posts. But these are only in the aboveground portion. In the two cellar levels are a library of books and maps to the dty (the contents stolen from various guilds in town), many private chambers, meeting rooms, accounting rooms, a shrine to Kurell (insisted upon by some guildmembets, though many thieves worship Norebo or other gods of theft, darkness, stealth, and crime), and the heavily defended guild treasury room. A forgery center operates in an underground chamber reached by tunnels, producing fake credit notes allegedly issued by neighboring states."[10]
