Bad Deep
Bad Deep is a place of corruption and evil found within the Gnarley Forest. It slowly spreads like a cancer, transforming the woodland into a lifeless waste that extends for miles, although the local druids combat it by casting protective spells on the surrounding trees each festival week.
History
Bad Deep is the site of an battle between the sons of Carashast, fought shortly after the warlord's death as the tribes under his control vied for supremacy. The extreme vileness of the massacre that took place there as the tribes exterminated one another has left its mark on the land even today, and the unhallowed place attracts creatures of the lower planes. Powerful undead are said to lurk below the earth, rising at night to continue their ancient struggles.
