Harskern is a village in what was once the Prelacy of Almor.
History
The village managed to avoid being raided throughout the entirety Greyhawk Wars, despite heavy raids on and near universal destruction of most of the surrounding area. The main reason for this was the skill of their village militia.
Geography
The village lies North of Bloodcrystal on the northern bank of the Flessern River.
Government
Village Militia
The village militia, who exerted an exceptional amount of control over the village, consisted of 20 men at arms, who are all veteran fighters (levels 5 to 10), who are supplemented by two mages and two theif-scouts. [1]. The militia was spying for Iuz, and protected the town out of pure self interest, because Iuz wanted up to date information on the dealing of the demon Pazrael.
