Moonarch of Sehanine is an elven artifact found in Celene.
Description
The moonarch itself is a tremendous pink-brown sandstone[1] arch that stands one hundred feet tall with a diameter at its base of 200 feet. It appears extremely aged, and it's crest is only a few feet wide at the top. Dark lavender colors can be seen seemingly within the sandstone, and at night when the moon is out, the entirety of the arch emits a dim, pale blue glow.[1]
History
Little is known of the arch's past. One of the few things known is it has never manifested more than once in any specific location. It seems somewhat random when or where it will appear, though when it does it is always when Celene, the handmaiden, is in her full phase.[2]
Some time after the Greyhawk Wars, Queen of Celene, Yolande, lost her Royal Consort, Fasstal Dothmar, when he entered the mysterious Moonarch of Sehanine and never returned. Yolande's diviners have yet to determine his fate.
