Nethertome of Trask
The Nethertome of Trask is a book of phrophecy "of highly dubious authenticity" which purports "to record [Vecna's] spoken edicts",[1] in which the Faceless One, a follower of Vecna, for the first time found the name of Kyuss.[1] It claims Vecna once did magical research in the area of Diamond Lake in a hidden, "subterranean cathedral".[2]
"Remarkably, the Nethertome suggested that [the Overgod] would form from an adhesion of three lesser divine entities —the gods Hextor, Erythnul, and Vecna himself."[1]
The book quotes an even older tome, the Way of the Ebon Triad.
