Nuria
Nuria was an ancient land, a contemporary of ancient Flan lands such as Sulm, Itar, Ahlissa, and the Isles of Woe (before the islands sank beneath the Nyr Dyv early in prehistory). It traded with the citadel of Veralos, its lords commissioning magical wonders from the craftsmen of the citadel.
Its precise location, and the dates of its rise and fall, are unknown.
Suppositions
The name "Nuria" is somewhat similar to Nyrond and Nyr Dyv. Although both those latter words are derived from Old Oeridian (Nyrond from the Nehron tribe and Nyr Dyv from the Old Oeridian words for "deep lake"), there still might be a connection.
