Oldridge
General information
Realm:Former Great Kingdom

Oldridge is a small town in what used to be the western part of the Great Kingdom, before it became part of the Kingdom of Ahlissa after the fall of Rauxes. The town's main claim to fame is the fact that the wizard Bigby, member of the Circle of Eight was born there.

Geography

The town is located fairly far east, in terms of towns in the province, just east of Ralsand, to the south and east of the Harp River but west of the Flanmi River and Jalpa.

People

The town is at a nexus point where princes from House Darmen, the CE branch of House Cranden, House Naelax, and the last vestiges of House Rax-Nyrond fight over territory and there are many disgruntled sell swords leftover from the losing side of those conflicts. [1]

Rumors and legends

Bigby fled his tower in 573 CY, and shortly there after, mysterious black robed figures that were escorted by fiends came to loot the tower. Rumors persist of secondary connected dungeons under the tower that can only be accessed during certain rare planetary configurations. Still the fact that Bigby himself had not returned to retrieve anything by 585 CY was cited as evidence that nothing of particular value was left. [1]
