Pardue is a settlement in what was once the Darmen-controlled region of the Great Kingdom, but is now part of the United Kingdom of Ahlissa.
History
The town is a trading town, and like many places in the surrounding area, the town was much more populous before the Greyhawk Wars.
Geography
The town is located near the juncture of the Thelly and the Mikar Rivers, just to the northwest of Pontylver.
People
Notable individuals
The singular most notable person in town is a tenth level priest of Olidammara named Wallzern. He is known for his perpetual drunkenness and his satirical songs and verse that poke fun at all the powerful and noble folks of the Darmen Lands. The greatest mystery about him is why nobody has had him arrested, exiled, or executed, but so far, he's been allowed to keep up his performances unmolested, perhaps due to the interference of his deity.
Government
The town is run by Prince Harnnad of Nulbish as it falls within his sphere of influence. He posts a garrison of 600 soldiers there to protect against threats from Medegia.
Economy
The town relies on fishing and farming for most of its wealth.
