The Great Lands of Reyhu is a minor independent state of the Bandit Kingdoms. After the Greyhawk Wars, it is part of the lands conquered by the Empire of Iuz.
History
Though the city of Rookroost was once the capital of the former Bandit Kingdoms, the towns of Sarresh and Balmund formed the alliance of Reyhu.
People
Religion
Iuz's forces worship their god, while the dispersed men of Reyhu worship Erythnul.

Orc, Common, Goblin, and Halfling.
Government
A long line of self-proclaimed tyrants ruled this territory until 583 CY, when they fled from before the advancing armies of the Empire of Iuz.
Since that time the region has been ruled by four clerics of Iuz, who report to either Stoink or Riftcrag. There seems to be some confusion on this matter. Though their rule is marred by incompetence, the area remains well defended. The rule of Iuz's clerics is a complete disaster. However, the country literally crawls with Iuzian forces, his allies, and orcs under his control. Because of this, Iuz's command is complete and the area is very well protected by the sheer number of defenders.
Economy
The alliance of Reyhu once commanded most of the fertile land in the region. This advantage gave them great power in a land of sickly woodlands and arid plains. Now the once celebrated farmlands lay fallow, as Iuz's forces do no farming. This once crucial resource is completely ignored and is quickly becoming wilderness.
Much trade also passed through Reyhu. Because of the aid Reyhu sent to Urnst, during the Nyrondal invasion, the county directed much unofficial and even illegal trade to Reyhu through Urnst' town of Hardwyn, which sits directly across the Artonsamay River from the town of Sarresh. This trade was facilitated by the many family ties that crisscross the region.
This trade has dried up since Iuz's occupation of the Reyhu region.
Military
The men of Reyhu were sworn enemies of the old Shield Lands and joined with the rest of the Bandit Kingdoms in raiding those lands in 579 CY. The tyrants of Reyhu once courted favor with the County of Urnst by sending military aid when the cavalry of the Kingdom of Nyrond invaded Urnst. Tales of Reyhu's prowess were told far and wide, even as far away as Lopolla, to the west.
But these forces were broken up when Iuz invaded from the west. Some went to Urnst and now raid their former homeland. Still others went north to the Fellreev Forest and joined with the sylvan elves there in opposing Iuz. Still more of the men of Reyhu went into the Rift Canyon, bolstering the Men of the Rift in their opposition to Iuz, under their Plar, Durand Grossman.
