Shag Solomon is a quaggoth Aristocrat originally found in Diamond Lake.
Description
Shag Solomon is a study in contradiction. Quaggoths are typically known for their bestial nature and their wild frenzies. Though Solomon is from the northern pine forests, he worked as an entertainer with clever stories at the Emporium.[1]
He has vicious teeth and jagged claws while dressed in a shabby gentleman's garb.[2][1]

Solomon is typically very calm and collected—very much a "gentlemanly braggart". Whether in Diamond Lake or in Alhaster, he falls easily into the role of storyteller, entertainer, and socialite.[4]

Activities
Solomon is known to frequent opium dens (the Emporium and the Deluxury) in both Diamond Lake and Alhaster, "sulking and drifting in an opium haze".[4]
Relationships
Solomon was close with a young man known to most only as the "Demon Boy", who also worked at the Emporium. A young halfling sorcerer whose mother was murdered by his father, and who was mistreated horribly by the owners of the Emporium. When he ran away, Solomon offered a tidy sum to anyone who could "turn him in".[5]
From his earliest days in Diamond Lake, and later in Alhaster, Shag Solomon is friends with Professor Montague Marat. Marat arranged for Solomon to leave Diamond Lake, and attempted to get him a job with Prince Zeech.[6]
History
Exceedingly little is known about Shag Solomon prior to his life in Diamond Lake working at the Emporium. Amongst the few details known are that he comes from the "northern forest", but it is never revealed how he came to be more civilized than the
Rumors and legends
When Shag Solomon moved to Alhaster, he wanted nothing more than to be accepted into the social aristocracy. When afforded the opportunity, he would always try to imrove his station and lot.

Shag Solomon featured a minor role in the Age of Worms adventure path. He was first encountered in The Whispering Cairn (episode 1), and returned later in The Prince of Redhand (episode 8).
