Sobanwych is a village located in the southern part of the Free Lands of Dyvers, halfway along the road between Hommlet and Dyvers(The Temple of Elemental Evil, page 4). It was referred to as a "village" in 579 CY, suggesting a population at that time of 600-900 (A Glossography for the Guide to the World of Greyhawk by Pluffet Smedger, the Elder (WoG:Gloss.1, 2), page 3).
