Storaven is a large village in the Duchy of Urnst.[1][2]
Description
Storaven is primarily known for its mines, along with its sister village of Berenad.[1]
People
Population
The majority of the inhabitants of Storaven are gnomish, with only 40% being human.[1]
There are additionally 80 Urnst militia stationed in Storaven in 585 CY.[1]

The mines typically prooduce large amounts of corumdum and emeralds.[1]

Description
Storaven is more of an outpost than a village where mining in conducted close by. The walled outpost consists of seven buildings: barracks, stables, a workshop, a common hall, the main trading post, a warehouse, and the administrator’s offices.[3]
Geography
Storaven on a trade route between Koffel and Berenad in the Altenmaure County in the Cairn Hills.
History
House Burlondin was awarded the deed to Storaven and its environs in 595 CY by Duke Karll Lorinar, as punishment against House Szabo for their feud with House Meissel.[4][5]

The Storaven mine produces gems.
Currency
Uses the duchy's standard coinage consisting of the platinum sterling duke (pp), gold duke (gp), electrum bright (ep), silver shield (sp), and copper common (cp).[6]
