Heraldry of Saltmarsh
On page 12 of the Ghosts of Saltmarsh campaign book under the heading "MILITIA AND DEFENSE" the book describes the town guard as wearing "...studded leather armor marked with a town guard's badge - the green reed of Saltmarsh..." I believe this implies that the heraldry of Saltmarsh is a simplification of the Heraldry of Salinmoor, depicting only the reed.
