Aztec Mythos by David Schwartz
[Adding this to all questionable pages in Category:Olman deities.] Almost the entire Myths and Legends section is a direct rephrasing of David Schawartz' articles in the Class Acts: Aztec Mythos series in Dragon magazines #352, 354, 356, and 358. ... which are not official articles related to GH, at all. It is about a 280-word restatement of a 500-word section in the article (!), uses the same sentence order and structure, and much of the same wordings. It borders stongly on plagiarism. Most of the rest of the article is the same. Using synonyms or slight rephrasing (or paraphrasing) doesn't make it not be plagiarism. And that's not me, that's literary writing, the publishing industry, and legal precedent. It's sometimes called "Synonymized Plagiarism".
It needs to be re-written to contain material that links to officially published core material and be non-plagiarized material. The "Class Acts" are known for mechanical suggestions, and essentially playtest material. Unless specifically citing greyhawk, they should be avoided.
Unfortunately, we now must go through all the pages in Category:Olman deities to find out how much of these "Aztec Mythos" pt I-IV have seeped their way into the wiki. These are authored for actual Aztec legends, not Olman religion. There is a difference between Olman deities and Aztec ones.
